India citizens have to live and adopt using capped data. This being a rule from the bigger telecom body TRAI. Giving a minimum of 512kbps, which according to recent reports goes further down to approximately 64 to 128kbps. Internet users especially have users feel this a limitation. Why tell me about unlimited data, while as it either slows down are depleted?
The question is, really do we have “unlimited data?” or is unlimited data limited? I bet you already have the answers. There is no unlimited, telecom providers just the word to entice users. the plans will surely go down after a certain limit. This where a notice appears and you have to either top up on data or else nothing will function.
I don’t know what internet service providers (ISPs) feel about the complaints. Maybe they react in certain ways due to the set regulations from the higher telecom authority. Actually internet users in India don’t mind paying for good service. But why pay for services which will disappoint? I think the ISPs should remove and set certain prices for data usage. Majority think the telecom companies are deciding on what percentage of internet one should use in a day or monthly. What about organizations and institutions? We need to revisit the speed matter or the 512kbps issue.
Why do ISPs have FUP limits?
I bet we have the bigger picture from the user’s side. Let’s have a hearing from the ISP, who claim data has to be capped due to several reasons. The main being easing internet congestion. I bet this where one goes like what? Why ease congestion by sacrificing my unlimited data? Each user’s paid for the same amount and why do we get the notion some users are favored if easing congestion is the matter here.
Nonetheless, we still don’t get the full reason for data capping. India’s should get used and adopt to unlimited by naming but action. Though it’s better than none at all or expensive service which throws out on some user’s. I think the greater reason should be more on catering for all citizens in matters of affordability. All users to get equal share of the internet pie.
Which companies offer top ups for broadband?
India being a communication hub due to the large numbers of telecom service providers. Also happens to be manufacturing based country as many gadgets are being process and manufactured here from the same companies. Each offering different broadband. However, choosing the best might be tricky since all companies have followers. Taking the list below we can focus on few known companies as follows:
- Airtel broadband plans
This a big company offering many plans and having two plans which don’t go beyond the RS 1000. Giving speeds of 40Mbps at RS 899 though with FUP limits.
- MTNL broadband plans
A state company offering RS 999 plan which gives 8Mbps for 100 GB in one month. Though the speeds will reduce to 1Mbps.
- BSNL broadband plan
Gives RS 949 where you get BBO ULD 949 for 30 GB and speed of 10 Mbps but later going down to 2Mbps.
